| back from vets, she said it was a burst abscess that has been left, the infection is so deep its amazing he hasn't lost his front leg.
3 lots of antiobiotics, flushed out and cleaned 3 times a day and lots of TLC, Please wish him luck |

| the vet named him Bobby, he,s lovely, he's let me clean it with a diluted iodene suspension, it must have really stung, he has also had his first lot of 3 meds and took them wonderfully, bless him, he knows I am helping him.
I have a good feeling he will pull through.

| morning, the infection has spread and the two gaping wounds are only joind by rotting skin, it looks and smells horrible.
but... he is on his meds now and getting the wound cleaned, he is reasonably lively and eating well, so fingers crossed his antibiotics will kick in soon.
if I can get rid of the infection he will heal quickly, rats heal amazing well, so please keep everyhting crossed for Bobby |

| last night I spent over an hour picking out the infection with surgical tweezers and cutting away the dead rotted skin, the hole is so deep, I am amazed he has survived so an aggressive infection. He lay there and let me help him. today the area is so much cleaner and there is a sign that the infection free areas are already begining to granulate....whooooo. he is eating and getting around fine, I think he has turned a corner. I love him and thanks for caring about him guys |
