and me Shelley will be tucked up in the house with the telly on loud to try and distract the dogs

They have both been stuck to me like glue for the last week

Keira is just scared and barks when they go off but Mickey jumps up barking and stands infront of me like hes guarding me

I hope it rains later stops all the idiots letting them off in the gardens

I think if you want to see fireworks you should go to an organised event ON BONFIRE NIGHT

ive been dosing bella up over the past few days in preperation for tonight ... and im glad i have as she wouldnt leave my side ... all night in bed lol

i shall give them all a good dose before it gets dark and switch the tv up nice and loud and keep all the lights on with the curtains closed to limit the flashes!

i bloody hate fireworks with a passion, ive never been a fan and if they were to be banned completely i wouldnt care

my neighbours over the road are a feckin nuisance ... they have fireworks every other day at this time of the year, theyre obsessed

i must remember to get the cat in too tonight bless him

Is the thundershirt any good Jude I might get one for Keira she seems to get worse every year When she was a pup she couldnt care less about the fireworks or thunder but now she totally freaks out about any loud noises Mickey just gets annoyed and growls he hasnt been too bad tonight
Keira was so worried she wouldnt even have a treat She NEVER refuses treats usually

The thundershirt definitely calmed him Bren. It wasnt a 100% cure but it certainly helped a lot. It was like a war zone outside last night so it was a good test of it. he still got up and went under the table for a bit but there was none of the frantic panic like recent years

Kala who for the past 2 years hasnt batted an eyelid at them was absolutely terrified. I have never in my life seen a dog shake so much and it really upset me. I gave her 1 of Marleys pills from the vets just 10mg ( he usually has 30mgs) and that took the edge off but she was glued to my side so I am thinking of getting a thundershirt for her as well.

fred loved them 1rolls eyes ...at one stage he was in the garden watching them while tia was on the doorstep watching with daisy, bella was panting away in the living room..... we never paid her any attention and as the night wore on she wasnt fretting as much
