PostSubject: Trixie Dog Walking Bike Lead Set   Tue Feb 17, 2009 1:10 pm

Trixie Deluxe Dog Walking Bike Lead Set

consists of: distance keeper, short lead and expanding lead for a safe dog leading alongside the bike quick installing and dismounting cyclist gets his hands free as the leash is directly attached to the bike expanding lead reduces heavy jerking and dragging and helps the cyclist to keep his balance 2 different applications due to trigger hook and peel fastening:* The fixing of the expanding lead with trigger hook ensures a tight hold and keeps your dog safely running by the bicycle. *
By using the peel fastening the expanding lead will loosen during any
unexpected tension which prevents a sudden fall of the dog owner.
Please note that with small dogs the peel fastening has to be put lower
than with larger dogs. Fixing instructions: Simply attach the
distance keeper to the seat bar underneath the bicycle seat. First
unscrew the bolts by included Allen key. Now fix distance
keeper to seat bar, put rubber joint between both support brackets and
tightly screw together, so that the distance keeper can not be moved.

    Trixie Deluxe Dog Walking Bike
    The
Biker-Set helps to keep a safe distance between dog and bicycle. Your
dog will directly be on a lead by the bike so that you will be
unlimitedly able to ride and to put on the brakes.

Spiral spring and pole are made of extra robust chrome-plated
metal. The spring absorbs heavy tension and tugging, so that leading
even large and strong dogs will be possible. It also ensures not to
    lose balance while biking.

    Product details:

    • extra robust
    • also suitable for large and heavy-weight dogs
    • for a safe dog leading by the bike
    • distance keeper fitted with reflecting stripes

Due to trigger hook and peel fastening at the short lead Biker-Set offers two different usage possibilities:

The fixing of the expanding lead with trigger hook ensures a tight hold and keeps your dog safely running by the bicycle.
By using the peel fastening the lower lead will loosen during any
unexpected tension which prevents a sudden fall of the dog owner.
Please note that with small dogs the peel fastening has to be put lower
    than with larger dogs.
The Biker-Set can be easily installed and dismantled.
    Fixing instructions:

The Biker-Set de Luxe can be easily fixed at the bicycle frame or the saddle post.
Put the plastic mantle around the bicycle frame or the seat post.
Place both holder parts on the plastic mantle and screw them together with the attached bolts and safety washers.
Now screw the spiral spring on the short side of the distance keeper.

Then insert the distance keeper into the holder which is attached to the bike. Please note that the lock snaps in.
The distance keeper can be detached again by releasing the adjustment.
