| Well today is day 54 for Summer and her whelping room is all ready for her. I have a spare bedroom that i'm using and i have a single bed in there so i can stay with her at all times.Her whelping box is ready,which i am proud to say i made myself. Its 5ft by 4 ft,so plenty of room for Summer and her babies.  _________________  |

| The whole thing would frighten me to death  I would be a bag of nerves,  Sharing a room is great, Bryns breeder had the pups in the dining room in a whelping box with a matress by the side, when I first went to see them, it was all neat and tidy, but after that the place was wrecked  Pups thought it was great to have everything all over the place |

| Thats probably what will happen here,lol.I like to keep mum and pups well away from the other dogs in the beginning.When they are up on their feet i slowly introduce them to the others.Summer wouldnt let the others near them anyway when their tiny,she's a very protective mother.However she lets me do anything i want to the babies. _________________ |

|  making the whelping box yourself  Im like Sandra id be a nervous wreck  i had a cat that had kittens years ago and was totally useless when she started having them at 3am  I ended up ringing my mum and dad to come down to help out  |
