| Some good points raised in the comments that followed the article.
Cars kill far more people than dogs & their waste product is killing the planet far faster than any dog.
Its not the breed its the type of people who own them.
I cant help thinking that this is a little tongue in cheek & is a deliberate ploy to provoke a reaction. It seems to be as much a rant against chavs as against dogs.

| i mean bings is a staffy cross n he is the softest thing ever he hasnt ever hurt any1 even when he got attacked by neighbours dog he didnt fight back he ran home bless him n jus cuz sum dickhead has a staffy thats attacked all staffys and staffy mixes cud have their life in jepordy if they do go on the dangerous dogs act it makes me soooo mad! she shudnt ov even left him alone with the dogs so its her fault more so than the dogs fault anyway grrrrrrrr !!!!!!!!!!!!! |

| Any breed that becomes 'fashionable' usually ends up in the hands of people who shouldnt be allowed to keep hamsters, let alone dogs! They then become classed as dangerous. It's been going on for years. When I was young it was the GSD (or Alsatian as they were more commonly known) then the Rottie and now its the Staffie. I have met several Staffies (a couple of my friends have got them) and they have all, without exception, been loving and friendly. Once again its the owners who are to blame!!  |
