Apologies if i have done this incorrectly.

i am looking to rescue a choc labrador or a boxer.

i work part time and have my teen son (17yrs) old living at home. i often have my 3 yr old grandson visiting me.

we have lots of time and love to give a dog. Ideally i would like a dog that can walk well on a lead so i can walk too and not rely on my son.

We live in Hull any help & advice will be gratefully accepted.

Yes i agree, there does seem to be no correlation to the dogs we like, i am afraid we are just going on looks at the moment.....perhaps foolish of us!!

so are you saying a boxer dog is not ideal around my 3 yr old grandson? i need to have a dog that could tolerate my boisterous grandson.

ester the boxer has been brought up around children and was shown by a 7 yr old girl at local shows ,

Leeds and Hull are too far away either

Why don't you organise to meet up and see this Boxer girlie and spend an afternoon with her. If she is the one for you then you will be able to tell.
If she is used to kids then already one tick in her favour.

yes , i think i would like to meet Ester. I dont drive though so will have to see what favours i can pull in!!
