Marley has never been one for licking his “bits” excessively but from Saturday night he has been constantly licking even through the night.
On Monday evening he was in the living room and he started again so I got down to stop him and said to Ed that I was going to have a look, poor Marley has about 6 to 8 reddish purple circles underneath.
Took him to the vets yesterday and it’s a bacterial infection, neil reckons he has ran through a bush or nettles which has caused an irritation to his skin which has blistered but Marley has licked it so much he has spread it.
He’s on very strong antibiotics for 10 days………£66 pounds ………..but if they do the trick what the hell!! Ed will just have to do some more overtime!!

Ouch poor marley sounds rather sore. i hope the anitbiotics do the trick

Thanks he's right down in the dumps And has bright yellow smelly poo yuk!!!! Reckon it must be the antibiotics, still looks sore and he gets peed off when I stop him licking!!

thanks everyone it doesnt look any better to be honest hilary but he still has another 7 days antibiotics to take so hopefully fingers crossed it will get better soon
