Did she get an injury that you know of there or did she get a small scratch from a cat? The original wound might be too small to see or be healed? Is she depressed and off her food atall?
Reason I asked is that one of my studs was stratched by one of our cats last year and ........well it started off looking very similiar to your ones chest but turned into a mess. (pics available but a bit graphic for here) He is fine now and his mane has grown back in. So I was wondering if she had had a wound of sorts and its gone septic!
just seen this sorry - yeh its from when she was attacked a couple of weeks ago - the dog bit her side her leg and all her chest - shes all healed up - there were some scabs there tho - she doesnt get a chance to get near any cats lol not depressed (tho she was sad after the vet visit) and shes NEVER off her food lol
no septicness either - it was fluid build up - took her to the vets monday to get it drained - and shes going back later at 4:30 to have a check up - looks sooo much better now but theres still some fluid there
thanks guys - shes doing loads better :)

no more vet visits for skyla!!!! she had it drained again today but thats it now unless it fills up again - which i dunno i just doubt it will - she didnt wanna go into the vets but once she was in there she was so good n just sat there whilst it was drained (monday we had loads of hassle n had to hold her still) she was sooo good too - in the waiting room there was a cat in what looked like a large hamster cage lol n skyla didnt even look at it and she walked by my side for most of the walk back too :D soooo happy for her
