Pip may have been taken from us but it has prompted Chloe into going out & buying her own horse.

She is a 3 year old TB mare, dark bay & 16.2hh. Her name is Lillie & she is a right madam.

We have had her since the end of May. Chloe backed her & then we turned her away for the winter as she still has some maturing to do, physically.

Her full sister is eventing & her sire won half a dozen races on the flat.

Just have to say after a few setbacks the new horse, Lillie, is going like a dream. We are thrilled to bits with her.

Chloe has broken & backed her & been riding her for about 4 weeks now. She seemed to find it very difficult to work on the right rein but after a visit from the physio she is loads better.

She has got an extremely impressive rear though and is happy to show it off at the slightest provocation. We are hoping that's just the baby in her!
