Just realised I have not mentioned Pip for quite some time.

Well it's a very long story (so I'll cut it short) without a happy ending.

Pip came sound after his layoff and Chloe started competing him for a while with great success. He had a 1st & a 2nd in his first showjumping comp and then a 1st & a 3rd in his first dressage competition. After a sticky start he was going well xcountry too so we were quite hopeful.

Then.... prior to his 2nd BE event we took him xcountry schooling as he had a bit of a ditch phobia. He was going really well, flying Trakehners & ditches, no problem and Chloe wanted to leave it at that but his owner wanted to her jump one last Trakehner which was massive and far bigger than he would have to face at his next event.
However, owner insisted, horse stopped (several times) so owner got on and pushed him so hard he actually fell into the ditch!
Chloe was fuming, they had a blazing row and the upshot was they took the ride off her so we left their yard.

What really wound me up was the fact that Chloe had all the expense and hard work of getting him sound and then when he started going well they took him back!!

B*******s!!


The really sad thing is that he went really badly for the owner (Kept getting eliminated) and eventually they had the vet back to him and it looks as if the op wasn't the long term success we had hoped for. The last we heard they were talking of having him put down




Sorry this was so long but this was a really bad time for us and such a sad outcome.

I'm not a particularly vindictive person. I blow my top but cool down pretty quickly. But the more time passes the more I hate this bitch!

My first thought was what an effing bitch!!! wasnt the first refusal enough to tell her that poor pip wasnt ready for the jump!!!! I hate people who do things like this. I can understand totally why you and Chloe left the yard, I want to punch her face in!!!

As far as I am concerned there is nothing too awful for me to wish on this cow. She's a waste of a good skin!
