Thought i'd take the dogs out for a proper walk today
as the snow has been really bad here and theyve only been running
around the garden.They were all fine except Shadow.
As soon as we came from the snow onto the main road he started howling
and jumping around.It was the salt and grit on the road had gotten into his paws.Shadow has allergies and his paws are very sensitive,it must have really stung.Didnt think it would affect him so badly or i wouldnt have
taken him out.Poor boy,i brought him home and bathed his paws and he is fine now but he will have to be confined to the back garden until all the snow has gone. Shadow.

Poor Shadow, for him to howl it must of been sore but you have cleaned him all up and he is OK now, love him

Apparently little dogs with hairy feet have this reaction to the salted grit as well, so Ellie has not been out at all just in case, she is confined the the garden and is going wild, throwing her flower pots around, diving on the big dogs trying to get them to play fight, running off with our slippers stc
