A FAMILY pet leapt in to save a five-month-old baby girl from the jaws of a raging bull mastiff. Little Lilly Dobbs was just inches from death as the dog toppled her pram and launched a ferocious attack – only to find loyal Staffordshire bull terrier Mollie defending the tot. Mum Emma Stanfield said her daughter would have certainly died or suffered horrific injuries if it was not for the heroic actions of her three-year-old steadfast 'staffy'. Miss Stanfield, 26, of South Norwood Hill, said: "I was terrified, I'm so proud of Mollie for being so protective and brave.
