today at darley park.... hardly any stalls turned up because of the weather which was a shame ... but there was plenty of people and all kinds of dogs there.... we were a little early for the dog shows so we went for a walk first, its a lovely place, fred and daisy loved it.... they were filthy dirty rolling about in the mud and any puddle they could find, they were straight in it fred wasnt too bad with the other dogs he ignored them after a while which was good

when we made it to the show ring, we looked at all the other dogs and they were all perfectly groomed and looking lovely, so we decided to stay on the sidelines instead

were going to another one next month, so this time we will keep the monsters clean..... or as clean as we possibly can

we all had fun anyway

sounds like you had a great time anyway , so glad fred the hunk is behaving around other dogs

he was brill sue.... he had a go when we first got there but soon calmed down ... were going to take him to lots of things like that, to socialise him more around strange dogs ..

why is it my dogs always get the filthiest though

because he is a dog thats enjoying life fun and plenty of mud

thats true enough.... the animal rescue people commented on how happy the dogs were ...as daisy was busy digging a hole in their tent and rolling in the mud

they did comment on his shepherd whine ... he started to whine and whinge after a while, he wanted to be off on his travels.... the rescue volunteers thought it was cute

me and lainee went to a show last sunday, there was a dog lying under the signing in table and twist pissed all over it's head

OMFG .... i can just picture it

terriers are bloomin funny

needless to say he didn't get a placing

whyever not

i would have placed him

think it was the judges dog

if youre going to do it, you gotta do it properly

There always next time

we were really looking forward to entering them into the comps as well .... my OH said to go ahead anyway, but i would have been embarrased at how dirty they were, i dont know how everyone else managed to keep their dogs so clean
