| THIS IS the hero Rottweiler who stopped a sex attacker in his tracks during a sinister assault on Hearsall Common in Coventry.
Two-year-old Jake, who is a Rottweiler cross, darted off from his owner Liz Maxted-Bluck and into woodland near the common after hearing shouting and screaming.
There he bounded towards Esmahil Adhami, as he preyed on his victim, and chased him off.
The dog, who has since been praised by the sentencing judge, then remained at the scene, guarding the victim until the police arrived at the scene.
