I emailed the rescue Kennels asking how Melissa was because I couldn't find her picture on their website and I feared the worst

Do you have an up-date on Melissa the Boxer X that you took to your rescue center from Brookfield kennels in Derby on or around
the 26th April 2010. (attached image file)
The reason I am asking is a friend of mine, and volunteer at Brookfield, Shelley Pirie used to walk Melissa
and we were both wondering what has become of her?

We both posted her around all the dog forums/rescue center's/ facebook etc in the hope she would find someone,
somewhere, that could rehabilitate her, we know she had issue's and would show some aggression towards other dogs

which didn't help her situation. Apart from that Shelley said she was a lovely dog. We really hope you could give us some
news on her whereabouts, whether good or bad. Thank You for taking the time out to read this email.

came to us in quite a sorry state, she was very thin and desperately
sad. However since being at the kennels in a caring environment she has
put on weight and looks so much healthier now.
Melissa adores
people and enjoys a bit of fuss and attention but would much prefer to
be the only pet as she doesn't like other dogs. Melissa didn't know
much kindness before she came to us but will repay your love for the
rest of her life if you are willing to give her a chance. Why not come
and meet this lovely girl?

awwwww i never got the reply i thought they had ignored me!!

shes lookin bloomin great, its bought tears to my eyes.... i shall have to e-mail them back and explain that i never got their reply

aww she is looking so much healther now. lets hope the right home is found for her soon

im gonna have to go and see her when the OH is back ....

i wonder if she will remember me...prob not
