    Faulty microchip
    Maybe the person checking for it missed it When my mums dog goes to the vet it takes ages to find her chip

    I know i would have to see him to make sure if i was in any doubt

    i cant remember if she went to see him or not i know what you mean about the microchip, i know someone who had their terrir chipped and it disapeared lol, they couldnt find it, they had to have it done again, so yes, thats always a possibility

    His owner didn't make any inquiries to the pound which only strengthens my beliefs
    that it was the owner that dumped this lad in the woods and tied him to a tree.
    rotten bastards.

    but the good news is that someone has given him a new home
    and he leaves the pound today
    and we are hoping it is the Wirral Doglost helper so we will be able to get updates on how he is doing.
