PostSubject: Sacha at vets tomorrow   Mon Jun 07, 2010 9:24 pm

Sacha is goint t0 the vets tomrrow to see a specialist dermatoligist.

her lips, the droopy jowel bits at the side of her mouth are always chapped and bleeding, when I try to put cream on she always cries.
she has had 3 vet visits to date and I have spent £130 but the condition has never got any better.

tommorow she will be anethesized and a biopsy taken, please keep everything crossed for my beautiful girl, I am dreading leaving her, since she was rescued she has been my constant companion and never leaves my side, I wish I could explain to her that I am not abandoning her.

just been and picked Sacha up, they have done a biopsy and we will get the results in ten days, meanwhile they have discovered an bacterial and yeast infection and have given her 2 lots of tablets.

She has a few stitches at the side of her mouth and she is feeling very sorry for herself.

the vet charged me £630, I can only hope the insurance pays out

aww poor sacha, hope the results come back with nothing serious...

fred often suffers with chapped and sore jowls, so it'll be interesting to see what the matter with sacha is

I hope the results show that it is something that can easily be treated. I can't believe they have charged that much

they actually quoted me £900 that included blood tests, I asked her to hold of the bloods and wait to see if the biopsy comes back with anything.
I think vets see £signs when they know your dog is insured, all very well, but what if the insurers wriggle out of paying.
I had to pay up front yesterday.

Sacha is her loving self today

Glad she is back to her self today the vets i'm with i just pay the excess and they get the balance from the insurers and if there is a problem they get in touch with me. I wouldnt have that to pay up front....bloody hell!!! Hope your insurance gets paid back to you ASAP..

Give Sacha a big hug from me and the gang....
