    Keeping your Dogs cool

ice cubes in their drinking water
wet towels for them to lie on.
    freeze bones, treats, etc.
    paddling pools, and hose pipes

what tips do you have for keeping your dogs cool this summer.

everything noted here i do too, except for the wet towels i hadnt thought of that ... :san50:

we have 4 or 5 bowls of water dotted about the garden, and the paddling pool has been out for the past few days... fred will get in it, which is brill cos he wouldnt last year.... daisy doesnt like the water lol... but she still gets dunked in when its really hot ....

I got rid of the pool it would start of good each year but a week or so in the earth around it would become a mass of mud no matter what we put around it, they would just turn another area into mud.

We put the fans on as well, got a good one in winter from Tesco, a stand up one it was as cheap as chips

Freeze bones never done that have frozed peanut butter in their kongs for them and do the water ice, and hose them, Zara hates the water and the hose she runs and hides when she see's me hosing the other 2. Might get a wee paddling pool for them......
