    A GRATEFUL dog owner has given his
    heartfelt thanks to passers-by in Evesham who helped to rescue his pet
    pooch from a freak accident.

    Jon Clements was taking his three-year-old beagle Lottie for her usual
    Sunday morning walk near Hampton Ferry when she began to play with
    another dog, named Archie.
