there with no exercise for weeks on end. The conditions would be massively improved by:
Creating a 'run', where dogs can be exercised.
Fitting new gates to the kennels to let the dogs feel less isolated.
Windows
in the roof of the kennels, to allow daylight. At present, there are no
windows apart from a couple of small outside pens for bigger dogs.
Warm
bedding. The kennels are made of cold grey concrete, and though they
are kept clean and washed regularly, they are often cold and damp.
How about a regular spot in the local paper, listing the dogs that need new homes?
Surely
it can't take too much money to make some small changes that would make
a massive difference to these li'l guys! Wouldn't it be great if
between us we could give the dogs a place to stay in comfort whilst
waiting for a new loving family?

abandoned dogs are kept in are extremely poor and the dogs are kept
