a lot of working malis and GSDs are docked as they damage their tails obv same with your gundogs i am not against that as its not for cosmetic reasons. my lab has broke his tail twice now and splits the end a LOT if he wasnt so old he would be docked for health reasons.

i dont think any dog "looks" better without a tail, thats very much the opinion of a lot of show breeders i find like bev and batman said dogs need their tails so if there is no medical reason as to why to dock why bother?

i know a load of working dog ppl who get round the ban tho its not that hard which is a shame.

heres the pic ov the GSD i DONT think it was docked - its longer than a docked tail but shorter than a GSD tail
