    ive bin asked 2 pet/house sit for a woman i work with for 12 days in august - she didnt mention paying me but every1 ive spoke 2 so far seems to think i shud b getting paid for this as i will b giving up 12 days ov my time only going home 2 walk my dogs then ill b back at this womans house - soo what do u think wud b a good rate and how do i go about tlking/askin her about it?

    im crap at tlking 2 people lol

    hmmmmm im not sure tbh hun .. you should definately get paid for it ... bev maybe able to shed some light on the price of animal sitting, im sure her friend does this ....

    my OHs aunt and uncle had a pet sitting business, they became quite wealthy from it, they sold the business a few years ago and moved to france :2431:

    hard one hun, people who walk other people's dogs get paid anything from £5 to £10 an hour around here

    yeah i wont see her till monday now so hopefully she will say summin then i used 2 walk my aunties friends 2 chows they only went on one walk a day for 20mins and she paid me £15 a week

    my friend Julie who walks Marley and Kala charges £10 per hour per dog for an hours walk during the day (I only pay half of that and she has my 2 for 2 hours!) she charges £20 if she has the dog all day and she charges £25 per night for a dog sit.

    i looked on one site and they charge £44.99 per day/overnight so im thinkin £20 is very reasonable seein as im giving up 12 days ov my time and will only b at home when i go back to walk my dogs then ill b bk at hers obviously i might sit n chill at mine for an hour THEN go back but u no what i mean lol

    hi i charge 9pound per hour to walk and 13pound per day for a dog to stay with me in my house,prices vary,if someone wants there dog to stay in its own environment i charge 9pound per visit which can be 2 or 3 times a day,included in this is walking,feeding,lights and curtains for security
