My mother's first reaction when I told her about Stanley the Rottweiler was "Oh no, not with the kids, hes a Rottweiler!!!"

    :san54: :san54: :san54:

I hate this attitude so much.

Should be used to it but it still annoys me :2445:

Well, I will have three "dangerous dogs" and I will do my best to make sure these "fears" are unjustified....

we wear a muzzle on Xena when we walk her now for her own saftey as there is so many kids about the village Axle is ok with kids.
Before we moved there was a fair day in the village and as we were walking round the stalls when a young boy (about 4 or 5)ran up behind us and grab her back end she turned to snap but as she was on a short lead all was ok,his parents were not very happy when we told them it was there fault as we said they should have taught him not approach strange dogs in that way,she has been wary of small kids ever since thats why we use the muzzle,
But guess who would have got the blame is she had nipped him

Yeah most parents, always blame the dogs/owners, if the dog has bitten - not even knowing the story.. It's a sad thing really because dog's don't bite for no reason, they bite when they are being aggrevated..

Not entirely true Karenn. Some dogs, albeit the minority, will make an unprovoked attack and the guy who trains Nico will vouch for that!!

hes a great dog and ignores all things around him but you need to be aware thats all
