when i got to the kennels today elaine told me that the little staffie called scooby i walked last week was pts the other day ... he had gone to staffie rescue and then bit someone, i absolutely dont believe this dog bit for no reason elaine agreed with me, when i took him out he was lovely, he responded to correction and let me cuddle and fuss him never bothered passing children or adults!! elaine and the kennel staff found him a dream too....very friendly, and he came from a family of 7 children!... before he was pts he came back to the kennels, im not sure why tbh, he was put in a kennel and under strict instructions to leave him in there with the run door locked, elaine said she couldnt do that, she got in the pen with him and opened the run, he was all happy and oblivious to what was going to happen

on a lighter note, today i got to walk a little puppy border collie, she was absolutely lovely, i cant understand why she hasnt been claimed yet .. she was found straying on a street. she didnt walk very far :2431: i had to keep picking her up for kisses and cuddles, she would go back to her kennel feeling very loved and tired ... im in no doubt she will find a home very very soon, im hoping so anyway,she was beautiful ....

fred behaved very well today on the way there and back, walking lovely and bothering with no one nor any dogs

sounds like a good day Shelley except for poor Scooby R.I.P
there is a woman on the other forum that works for Staffy rescue do you want me to ask her if she could find out what happened or shall I just leave it.

yea melissa is still there ..... i bet shes proper frustrated, she only gets a few mins walk a day

oh right ... unless staffie rescue handed her back to the council and it was their desicion then, that would explain why she came back before she was pts

i dont know tbh.... she said the staffie rescue had her pts... but he came back to the kennels first, im sure thats what she said

yea, its got me thinking now tbh ... elaine did seem rather pissed off about it tbh!!... when i went back with the border collie pup, she just gave me the keys to the kennels rather than come back up with me as she always has done before .... i might ask her more about it when i go back on thursday

somethings not adding up right somewhere, i will do some digging

and ask the lady in charge to ring the Beaver

even if elaine or liz were to ring the beaver up, the council wardens would still need to talk to her ... there the ones who have the last say on the rescues

no wonder she's aggressive think I would be too.
she doesn't deserve to be locked up all day does she.

i would walk her if i could go somewhere where there was no dogs ... someone with more experience could muzzle halti and take her over the fields early in the morning im sure ... all she needs is some love and lots of exercise every day
