    Maybe you have something there Karen.

    We bought an extremely expensive breastplate for one of Chloe's ponies a few years back and the brass fittings on that turned green.

    But as Sandra said, it still begs the question why Judes did it but not the others.


    I use training leads and nylon half checks but I am in the process of looking for a leather one for Nico.

    Have used nylon since he was little cos he chewed two leather ones up. One while it was still round Sly's neck!!

    Viva has a brown leather half check with brass fittings and a brown 6ft leather lead also with brass fittings. For long line work I used a 25m I think horse lunge line as I find they are longer and stronger than the dog long lines.
