adopt a little jack russell .... yes a little yapper!!!!

ive been back to the kennels today to walk the rescue's .... today there was a little jack russell in there.... he was covered in scabs and looked quite filthy... he had been run over and found by the dog warden ....i took him out for a walk and he was absolutely adorable.... i found my self imagining him coming home with me..... not sure how old he is, but hes only a little fellow :2431: the OH rang tonight and i mentioned the dog to him, and he loves small dogs ... he wants me to take the little dog out tomorrow with fred to see how they get on... and then maybe have the little dog at home for a day or two to see how they are.... and if all goes well we would keep him .....thats if hes not claimed by the owner first :2431:

BUT..... my worries are... how will fred be with him? is there going to be carnage?... fred has had run- ins with little dogs before!!....will the little dog have a bad effect on fred? we know nothing about the little dogs background?...

am i thinking with my head and not my heart

Well your taking him out with Fred tomorrow, you will get an initial insight to how they are

Only by you and Fred spending time with Jacko will tell you how they will be

Bryn has had run-ins from little dogs attacking him but I knew he would be fine with Ellie belly, chuckles isn't an annoyer, if that makes sense you will have to see how Jacko is with other dogs hun

we passed a few dogs on the walk today and little jacko didnt batter an eyelid at them ....

this is whats worrying me sange.... if he has ''another side to him''......

on his walk he seemed very laid back and placid... he walked with his nose facing forward and bothered with absolutey no one or anything that went by.... im wondering if he is still not right after being knocked over, and then after a while his wild side comes out :2431: ....

Would of thought that if he is still not right after the accident he would of tended to be a bit defensive

However, whenever we had new clients we would always wait till the honeymoon period was over before we felt we knew them

when he was in his kennel he looked perkier and was jumping up at the cage all excited.... but once he was on that lead he was amazing....
i wish i had kept bettys old crate now, i could have had him overnight and observed him and fred

hes white with lots of dark scabs lol... very short smooth hair and lickle ickle legs and an ickle lickle tail :2431: ... im not sure if hes got colouring around his nose, cos its all bloody and scabbed ...

he would look lovely in a little coat :2431: ..... at first i wondered if he was blind cos he wouldnt look at me, wouldnt have any fuss at all ...then i got out the secret weapon.... the treats... even then he didnt pay me much attention
