| its freds silver test in the next couple of weeks but weve also been training for the gold test as well, as the silver isnt much different to the bronze :2431: ... ive been getting in some extra training with fred the past few days.... ive learnt him to do a finish when i shout him back to me(where he goes round and sits by my side).... weve learnt the the stop stay in the middle of calling him.... he freezes mid run and doesnt move ...and tonight weve almost cracked the 'away to bed' .....hes picked it up all soooo quickly.. .... ive enjoyed doing it.... just need some more stuff to learn now :2431: lets just hope hes this good at training on saturday _________________ ~The dog is a gentleman! | Thats excellent Shelley!! Will he do a 3 minute down stay and let you go out of sight for 30 seconds as that is part of the gold too. Have you taught him hand signals for sit, down and stand? we have to teach this at the training club, we do this on the beach with Marley and Kala at a distance. try teaching left and right .......just a couple of suggestions _________________ |
