| Well got the girls results back
as follows
kmars Balie hips 7/7 =14 elbows 0/0
kmars Bliss hips 3/4 = 7 elbows 3/0
the result of bliss's elbows was a suprise even to the vet as she shows no visual signs of ED (should have been showing signs of lameness)
The vet contacted us when she took the xray so we new there was a problem before sending them off for scoring (they asked if we still wanted to send them off)
as it would have saved us some money.But its not about money just the health of the dogs.
Just goes to show what can be thrown up in a litter and the difference in scores between pups |

| Good results on the hips Kenny,shame about Bliss's elbows. Some people think that if one of the litter has good scores then they all will,but it doesnt always follow as you have proven.  _________________  |

| some breeders i have heard of are not getting elbows done just now because they cant afford both tests and elbows are not compulsary for breed survey at present.
if i had only got hips done everything would have looked fine but could have been breeding with bad elbows |

Tracey as Jan said after a year old or vet charges the following
hips £ 95 includes anastetic(per dog)
elbows £ 45
THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE FEES FOR BVA they charge £ 45 per score
but you get it for £ 80 if both (hips& elbows)done same time.
there is a bigger discount for 5 or more dogs.
so it cost £ 440 to get both them done |
