PostSubject: Mylee   Tue Feb 02, 2010 6:22 pm

Meet Mylee, she is a female gsd currently living with a family including 6 kids and another on the way.
the owners want to get rid of her because they haven't time for her. duh!
she is a beautiful nature and dog friendly, the only down side is she has growled at the younger kids when they have stepped over her, so for that reason we would like to re-home her with a family with older kids, 10+

we had a home for her, did the homecheck in Crewe, arranged to collect her, a trip to the groomers and to deliver her.
the new owner let us down on the last minute

Paws and claws are going to buy Mylee from the present owners, apparently they paid £450 for her and want to get some money back, therefore we would be asking for a donation of £150 to cover our expenses.

If you or any one you know can give this sweet girl a break and a forever home please contacy me or Debbie

not sure, they said a family crisis, that may be true. but I explained that we were having to buy her and would be asking £150 for her to cover expenses, I think that may have been a factor, not sure.

never mind, it was not meant to be and I believe things happen for a reason.

Disgusting! did they expect to get her for nothing?!
You pay an adoption fee to help the next fur kids... not paying for the dog
BB & Xsaras adoption fees were around the £100 mark... i gave over and above that
She's a beautiful wee lass, the right home is out there for her

people don't realise, every penny from donations goes straight back into the rescue to pay for fleaing, worming, grooming and any health issues. we will never re-home an animal till it is healthy.
what me and Debbie do is entirely voluntary because we love and care for animals.
