a friend has asked me today if i know of anyone who would like a jack russell, i dont, but said i would ask for your help 1hi ....

tinkerbell is a 3yr old jack russell who in the last year has started to bite the kids... she is really affectionate otherwise,but the family feel they have no other option to rehome her, they have been looking for a suitable home for the last 6mths and have not yet found anywhere they would feel comfortable in leaving her. when the family first got her the mum wasnt working, but now she works full time and so does her husband... if the kids are in then tinkerbell is out or shut in a different room.... when the owners are at work, they ahve to put her outside as she will poop in the house.... she admits they have no time to look after her properly i.e take her to training or regular walks ...

just before xmas tinkerbell bit the youngest child who is 5, who then opened the front door an let her go.... the family finally found her at a pound near nottingham, they paid the £55 to get her back home, its obvious they do love the dog, they just simply havent the time for her ...

if anyone can give me any help on this i will be grateful...

i just wish my mums husband would agree to another dog, she sounds ideal for my mum

no hun, her jack russell x died a couple of years ago... she misses a dog, shes never been without one ... they have the mad cat though, who i posted about, the one who attacks dogs :2431: .... but with perceverance that could be overcome ....

i couldnt be without one either sange ... it hurts her loads ... her husbands a miserable old sod :2431: ... i was thinking of asking them to look after the dog for a few nights, see if he bonded with it ...

i cant help her if she doesnt help me .... i wonder if the reality of me actually being able to do something has hit home and theyre hopefully prepared to stick by their dog!!
