| Roger went to his new home today. I hate to see a rat living alone!!!!!!! male rats are notoriously difficult to introduce to one another, but I really felt that Roger was such a sweetie I would like to chance it. I rang his new owner to wait a few days and let me try and find him a friend or two. she agreed. Roger is 12 months old, so that meant he would be best inroduced to babies. I eventually found some in Wigan, 3 adorable sweeties. I was only meant to get 2, BUT................. I couldn't just leave one on its own, COULD I????? SO I bought all 3, as you do!!!! I bathed the babies and Roger all together, dried them off and doused them all in vanilla essence (a trick of the trade) I let them all fee range in my consevatory, hosed Rogers cage and re-arranged it all, and took a deep breath, in they all went, After a few ''handbags at dawn'' they all settled down and slept all curled up together. AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW! Roger is not a lonely rat anymore. His new owner was delightged with them all. she was expecting one rat and ended up with 4, she was delighted, ( phew) A lovely lady, and another RAT FAN!!!!! |
