     I Feel Sick

    Today i was using a shovel to break up some ice on the path.
    The dogs were out but no where near me,or so i thought.
    As i was bringing the shovel down at full force,Shadow stepped forward
    and the shovel hit his paw.Poor boy was screaming and i was in tears.
    Anyway i took him to the vets tonight and his toe is broken and as its a bad break
    he has to have it amputated on wednesday.I feel like shit,i know it was an
    accident but i feel so bad for causing my beautiful boy so much pain.

    accidents happen Jan, I can remember jamming Marley foot in the kitchen door when he was 7 weeks old I know how distraught I was so I can understand how you will be feeling.

    don't beat yerself up over it un. poor Shadow he will be fine bless him they dont hold grudges and he knows how much you love him

    Like the others have said accidents happen You shouldnt beat yourself up about it

    Hope all goes well on Wednesday and he makes a speedy recovery
    Im sure he will be up and running around like normal before you know it

    Like others have said, accidents happen, no one's fault, it's understandable how your feeling we love our babies so much, and on here we all know your the most loving person to your dogs so it must be very tough for you right now try not to beat yourself up hun

    He isnt too bad hun,he was sick during the night but i think it was
    the painkillers,and i persuaded him to eat a bit breakfast.He is just
    sleeping most of the time.
