whoooooooo not long till xmas now :jingle bells:

fred and i have had a lovely day today.... were enjoying the new walk we have found.. and today we had the field all to ourselves again... it was great fun ....we were absolutely filthy by the time we got home... we called in at kennelgate on the way for a few bits and bobs.... its not right to pass a pet shop without going in :2431:

im going shopping tomorrow with a friend....all though i shant hold my breath... she always lets me down at the last minute

Today has been a busy day for me today its the start of the staff Christmas lunches Monday to Friday this week, 2 sittings per day and 200 people on each sitting.........and Im the bouncer on the door AGAIN!!!!!!

Though it was nice that people who I havent seen for a whole year have been asking me where Im disappearing too and how well I look

After my shock of the xmas next week post I forgot to say that I took all 4 out together this morning as I was having My daughter, hubby and Holly call for the day, it was lovely having ages with them Holly is a darling

xmas has come round so quickly this time...its scary... i was only saying to nicole yesterday...i wish her and tia could experience a xmas like i had as a child living in the country... snow drifts up the doors and windows, all the men getting together and digging their way out of the driveways.... and kids going sledging and building igloos all day long and trudging home all cold to sit by the fire and wait for dinner .... ... i miss all that

now i wish i could experience that as well..... i love the snow and the thought of being in the country side

it was an amazing time... there would be thick blankets of snow for weeks on end ... the schools would be shut because most of the kids lived too far out in the sticks to travel .. we could be out all day and we had no mobile phones yet our parents wouldnt worry ... they knew we would be back when we were hungry :2431:

i remember making tunnels in the snow on the driveway.... and me and my friends crawling through them all... good times

sounds like very good times to me and photos you can share?? i can only dream I grew up down south so hardly saw any snow, and now that i live up north they dont get snow like they used to

i have no photos .... but i expect my mum or dad would have loads .... i think i might get them to sort some out....it would be lovely to see them again....

The year I was born there was so much snow, dad had to shoot a rabbit for some grub he skinned it and threw the skin, when the snow melted the rabbit skin was on telegraph wires I don't remember it of course just the family stories
