George is a 3 year old male SBT - Brindle
He is neutured, microchipped, fully vaccinated.
5 generation pedegree with papers.
He has not been raised around children and due to his size would be better placed with older children/ adults only. Purely because he can be abit boisterous and would knock tots over by accident.
He is good on the lead and loves long walks.
He is fed chicken flavour pedegree dry dog food, which I leave down all day, and re fill when empty.
His food is topped up with nibbles from our plate... only little bits...his favourite is spaghetti bolognase, he will drool when this is made.
He is a house dog and has never been left outside / slept outside. He would not like this.
He is used to sleeping on the bed with us, but he snores! so the new owners may not like this! he would be fine in the kitchen.
He knows basic commmands, sit, stay, lie down, shake a paw.
He responds best to an assertive tone.
George is not really a chewer of items... apart from pens.
he is such a loving dog, and wants to be near you all the time, he loves sitting on your feet whilst having his ears rubbed. He loves the raw hide bones, and I usually buy a 2/3 w week (- the larger ones)
He loves to sit on the couch and snuggle up to you. He has never bit/attacked another dog even when a labrador bit his ear, he did not retaliate from this unprovoked attack.
I tried to socialise him as much as possible when he was a puppy. he is fine with most dogs but some dont seem to like him and growl at him- he usually only growls back if its a grey hound - he does not like these at all.
If he is off lead, he will not go out of eye shot of you, if he cant see you, he'll run back to find you. He has never really mastered "fetch" but will chase the stick, sit down and chew it. he will go in water, but never where his feet wont touch the floor.
George is such a wonderful dog, and it breaks my heart to let him go.
Please vet any potential owner as I could not stand the thought of him being used for fighting. He such a good dog he will make someone very happy.
