Did you know that if you take your pet to
your vets to get it microchipped your vet will have decided for you
which of the three available microchip systems to use. For example you
should ask him if the data base associated with the microchip is manned
24/7 and if you will need to pay an additional fee after 8 years.
(Anibase doesn´t do well in these areas). You might also ask if
the microchip system is a committed to the MAG (Microchip Advisory
Group) code of practice. (Avid is not).
