| ive had this conversation before.... i have absolutely no doubt that my OH will not be able to handle fred if i died,.. he would become a danger ... i would want him to contact mascani to see if they would have him... and if they couldnt then i would rather fred be pts and be buried with me ...that may sound harsh but i would never settle :2431: _________________ ~The dog is a gentleman! | My OH would keep them but if we both died i have made it known that nobody gets a penny of our money unless the animals are taken care of I would hope my relatives would either keep the dogs or take them to a GSD rescue The reason for this is because the rescue would have knowledge of the breed and be able to place them with suitable owners I too would probably want Mickeys breeder Mascani to be contacted to see if they could rehome him I think my brother would take on Keira because she loves him and his dog gets on great with her Ive even thought about putting this in my will |

| i wouldnt want anyone else to have fred :nhy: .... i know that sounds horrible, but i know all his little ways, how much he can take, what he eats etc etc.. no one else could ever love him like i do :2431: ..... and if you can see your loved ones when you die.....i would hate to see him so unhappy, cos i know he would be if i died .... i always remember my nan would never get another cat when she was nearing her 70's... she said... ''no because when im gone no one will ever look after it the way i do'' .... _________________ ~The dog is a gentleman! I hope to go to his heaven, not man's~ |

| why its very interesting to see what people think hun ....its a brill thread.... if tia was older i would have no qualms abotu leaving fred with her so long as she had the same frame of mind as she does now... shes brilliant with fred, and has more control over him that nicole and my OH :2431: _________________ ~The dog is a gentleman! | My OH said he would keep & look after the dogs if anything happened to me, but im not sure whether he would be able to give them the time and care they needed. Harsh as it may sound but i would only want them to be looked after by Sue - especially Molly. Tess would probably go to any home as she is just that easy going. |

| it's a worry, if my OH is still alive all will be OK There are a few who would want Hazel, they always ask if they can have her so she would be fine and would settle so long as they threw a ball all day long Misty doubt anyone would have her maybe my brother Bryn, my friends husband wants him, but I would be concerned as he is a velcro dog and very sensitive and gets very upset when I go up my mothers over night, so he is very worrying. Ellie, she would be the easiest |
