| today i bought a muzzle..i was reading that they can not only stop your dog biting they can also help to calm them down.. so i thought the thought of having a muzzle on may stop fred from barking and going crazy when a dog goes past.... he doesnt do it to all dogs, but i can normally spot which dog he will do it too... we were walking on the newly created 'great northern greenway' in chad and i spot a man walking a little white pup, so i stop fred make him sit and put the muzzle on.... bloody hell :nonono: i wish i hadnt bothered, he went crazy at the pup, the worst ive seen him... so i took it off and corrected him and waited till he was calm till we continued.... later on as were coming on to the racecourse there is a few dogs about, so instead of keeping him on his short lead i got his flexi lead out and instead of keeping him close and correcting him etc etc...i kept my distance, but still close enough that fred thought he could get to them and i distracted him and kept telling him 'here' he didnt bloomin bother with the other dogs much, had he been on a short lead he would probably have barked and growled bloomin dog will send me to an early grave _________________ ~The dog is a gentleman!
