Its going well thanks Steffie. He had his staples out on Friday which was quite appropriate being as its Halloween as he had looked a bit like Frankensteins monster up til then! He has another ten days box rest & then he can go out in the field. Whoopee!

Bless him????!!!!! Hes a monster. I cant wait for him to go out. He has this habit of reversing up to you when you're in his stable until he has you pinned against the wall. Fortunately he prefers to bite rather than kick

When I told Chloe she said, rather too dismissively for my liking 'Oh well its much better to get kicked from close up.'

That made me feel so much better!

Thanks guys. Neal, the vet, is very pleased with his progress so we're starting to get a bit excited about it all even though we promised ourselves we wouldnt. After his month in the field he has to go back to Oakham to be x-rayed & re-assessed & then we will know for sure.
