Don't think i would either to be honest but its one hell of a decision to make and you dont know what you would do till you were in that position.

Hope everything works out for you.

weird i was havin a similar convo last night as the dogs were playin n bings fell over cuz ov his bad leg n i was told that he cud always have a set ov wheels if anythin happened i sed personally i dont want my dog 2 have wheels i just disagree with the whole thing tho bings is 10 now so abit older than keira i can understand where ur cumin from and totally agree id rather have his last moments b happy 1s n have him pts a happy dog not a depressed miserable dog that has 2 drag himself around with the use ov wheels or not

Our first GSD had CDRM & I discussed this very subject with my vet. There is no way I could watch my once active beautiful dog drag himself round on wheels. Its not natural & somewhat demeaning. After I said all this my vet said that personally he completely agreed with me but it had to be my decision.

That said Max died of cancer before the CDRM really kicked in so I never had to make the decision.
