from a lady who has two 7 month old GSDs shes having issues with fear aggression so i have booked her in for thursday as i have another business meeting weds. anyway i think this is the ppl my neighbour gave my card to as she says her hubby wants to train one as a security dog :thinking:

i explained about it being a LOT about genetics and temperment, and i will explain more wen i see them. but still a worry someone with a fear aggressive dog would want to train it for such a job and poss manwork...

isnt fear agression one of the worst agressions :thinking: .... definately not a good thing if you want to train your dog for security :nhy:

yea it can be as they will just react out of fear and bite it shows lack of nerves and altho all dogs go through a fear stage at this age a dog with strong nerves doesnt act this way my lot never showed fear to anything which is also a pain lol

i will make sure they relise this i will be telling them about the DDA ect and INC it in our pack, as i know ppl who would still train their dog for security even with lack of nevers as its good pay

My first thought was the age too, prime time for it, esp if she has two together. Many people keep them dependant on each other which doesnt help either, that why we take ours separately as well as together.

I watched that one with the cocker spaniel again the other day, the one she advised was pts as they had tried everything with it. They hadnt, they hadnt tried giving it to someone who had a clue what they were doing.

Made me so mad, the cocker attacked the girl "for no reason and without warning". Apparently she was bringing in the washing and he turned on her. Thats a lie, she couldnt even reach the washing line :thinking: As for the dog, he was bored out his mind, had useless owners and he took the piss out of them and they let him. Given to someone who knew what they were doing, he would have been a great little dog
