Do you remember when you were a kid, playing Nintendo and it wouldn’t work? You take the cartridge out, blow in it and that would magically fix the problem. Every kid I knew did that, but how the hell did we all know how to fix the problem?
There was no internet or message boards or FAQ’s. We just figured it out. Today’s kids haven't got a f**king clue.

i remember my mum buying one of them spectrums or commodore 64's lol.... black and white stick men.... they were ace

The first console we ever had i bought from grattan catalogue We had the game galaxian which we played nonestop all day and most of the night until we burnt the console out :2431: we returned it saying they had sent us a faulty one :whisteling: :san42: :san42:

I loved Galaxian best game ever

We had a Sinclaire then Commodore 64 and had nights in playing against eachother :2445: best was the games, like running and swimming, we would knock the keyboard so hard the keys would ping off, loved those days

OMG i remember that game it was the olympics wasnt it :thinking:

You could do things like the hurdles and the javalin and hammer throwing
and the rowing used to nearly kill you because it went on for ages :san41: We all had blisters on our fingers from playing this game

Those were the days I can remember being addicted to playing the first Sonic the hedgehog game aswell I used to race in from work and start playing it straight away i was desperate to get to the end of the game before my OH did

That's the one Bren, good old fashioned fun :2445: we loved it


I liked the first Sonic game as well it was the best one of them all

i could never play sonic :nhy: .. i loved the motorbike racing game called road rash.... i was brilliant at it

The old games were the best, the games today are to complicated to just play for a bit of fun
