PostSubject: Mimi's check up   Fri Aug 07, 2009 7:47 pm

Mimi went back for a check up today. I thought she was healing pretty well but they gave us another course of antibiotics and some other tabs, forgot what they are.

They tried to give me a pink wash stuff too but I said were finding it almost impossible to put cream on her. She decided to show me how to wash her with this stuff.

I held Mimi, the vet tried to wipe her.

She then fetched a muzzle and tried again.

She then decided it was a waste of time and not to bother, Mimi was a pain in the arse :2445:

So were on 3 pills a day and another check up on Friday.

While we were there, this is at the PDSA, a couple drove in in a work wagon, had a presa c pup and a rottie pup. They came for first vacs for them both, then sat in the waiting area bragging about how they have males lined up to breed them both :san41:

I hate using the PDSA but at the minute we have no choice. We dont use it for routine stuff though, we pay for that ourselves and we try to pay about half of the bill. I thought this couple were taking the piss. They could afford the pups in the first place *knowing they qualify for PDSA so little income*. Its not on. The PDSA is there for pets who needs care, not for spongers who are too tight to pay for vacs after paying out hundreds for two pups.

Much better, its mainly a huge scab now, although some of that has fallen off and left those parts looking almost normal.

She makes out it hurts too but it doesnt, she rubs it on the floor like a puppy. Shes a mardy biatch

I dunno what it was, some pink stuff she gave up on :2445: Said it was pointless using her cream too cos of the scabs so to just leave it alone.

No need for people to misuse a great service like they provide, it makes me sick.

Glad she is on the mend Paula, poor girl, why can't the vets believe you when you tell them you cannot put the crean on!! But at least they saw for themselves

I know what you mean about the people who don't use the PDSA for the right reasons, I know of someone who would go on holiday 2/3 times a year, had a lovely home bla bla and used them through their mother - like you say it's there for the people who need it at certain points in their life.
