my OH will throw the ball, and if fred brings it back to me i just ingore him..then he will paddle back over to the OH.... the OH can be running around with him and having fun, but fred will be constantly looking round to see where i am....i totally ignore him and after a while he will run back ...even if the OH takes the lead and walks him, fred is constantly looking back for me...
today i thought i would take fred out on our own as he was quite anxious again this morning... i could tell straight away that fred was on one.... the minute we got out the gate he was growling and lunging for a cat... i checked him turned back and went in the opposite direction only getting closer slowly.... we made it up the road only for him to go skitso and trying to cross the road to go towards the racecourse... there was a woman with two dogs, but he wasnt particularly bothered with those at that time.... we walked a little further and he pulled me into the road trying to get towards the racecourse(something he has never done).... so i pulled him back and we walked in a different direction with him mouthing and trying to bite my hand.... i kept my cool and marched him off the other way... and stood for a few mins to relax us both.... when i felt we were both okay we headed of again, only this time as we were about to head for the racecourse i took him somewhere else instead.....and he walked beautiful all the way there and all the way back.... we went to kennelgate along the way too....and he was brilll there, he didnt jump up his usual favourite assistant... he barked at a bloke, but nothing serious,it was more of a yap lol,and the bloke knew this... i bought fred a DAP collar...just to see if this will calm him in the house a bit... hes actually pretty chilled at the moment sat by me in the kitchen lol..._________________ ~The dog is a gentleman!
