ive had a bad day today with fred.... hes been excellent for the past few weeks, and then today the OH came home and it has been bedlam... he took ages to settle down when the OH came in.... we went out for a walk to the racecourse....he was good on the field... we then went to PAH.... where he was fine with all the people in there he ignored them, then we were at the counter paying and he saw a large white akita and went absolutely psycho dog, it was completely out of the blue... then he was the same to a cavalier pup out side .... i ahve no idea why he did this... he is currently in the kitchen cos hes been doing my head in all evening...panting and pacing about unable to settle.... ....

Only joking hun, I have no answers to why they do it, Marley is the same at times. I took him out the other night and a guy who Marley knows from the pub and is fine with walked past us at the bottom of the street and spoke to us and Marley went ballistic. The only thing I can think of is he had sunglasses on which he doesnt normally when he is making a fuss of Marley.

i agree with that jude... the OH can bugger off back to camp lol... fred and tia both play up when hes home.... ....

i wish i could read freds mind and find out why he does this when the OH is home... he must give off the wrong vibes i cant think of anything else.....

ohh bloody hell hun, could be due to a number of factors hard to know with out seeing him but your OH pressence could have a HUGE effect on him.

i would make it clear to the OH he has to be as consistant as you with his training hun.

i would normally say its the OHs fault, but he didnt have time to do anything... its as if fred gets all panicked because the roles in the house are shifted or something.... hes only just relaxed and stopped panting and gone to sleep.....

im afraid today i did get frustrated.... i know i shouldnt have done and i did take 5 to calm down.... but it was as if a switch ahd been flicked on as soon as my OH came home....
