PostSubject: freds field trip and PAH   Sat Jul 25, 2009 6:49 pm

we decided to take fred out today to the field...

he did really well... there were a few dogs on the field...we did some training first, i walked him up and down and next to another dog... not once did he bark, which i was really glad of.. normally i wouldnt let him off but i thought bugger it... i feel hes ready and so am i ... and he didnt even bother even when a young border collie was playing within sight ... we then went to PAH and he was brilliant with all the dogs except a puppy... which scared him and make him bark and back off in fright lololol...

im really chuffed with him

:san50: Well done Shelley and Fred

Sounds like everything is coming together nicely now :2879: Better to take it slowly and get good results than rush and set him back

Hopefully Mickey and Fred will be good boys and get along

I really enjoy the training We went twice this week Wednesday with just Mickey and Thursday night with both of them

Mickey is trying for his bronze on Thursday but im not expecting him to pass because he has decided he no longer remembers what a stay is He was doing a down stay for two minutes no problem a month ago but since his little behaviour change its as if he has gone backwards
