well magic hasnt been right for about well a yr now. hes not lame hes just unleval it comes and goes. well the vets have done all number of tests, and cannot figure out what is wrong

he happy enough, walks ok, trott not so gud, canters fine, worse on hard ground, and down hill, doesnt get worse after exercise ect ect.

so two options it could be Navicular disease :awx: or i think either cannon bone disease or pedal bone cant remember lol, either way its not great but not the end of the world.

hes not really old for a pony either only about 17/18 and is a great pony to ride really fun and fast, but hes not hs old self anymore i could have this pony for another 20yrs easy and i was hoping he would be able to ride out for a while longer. its just depressing he cant do what he used to be able to do

yea this is it as soon as he started presenting the symptoms me and mitra and my farrier said navicular but with him being a pony hoped it wasnt.

i had my farrier do a full check of him too, even he said its not arthritus as hes soooo bendy and their is no crunching. and all the signs point to dam navicular.

we just managed to get him right after his fractured pelvis and this happens. it took a LOT out of him and cost us a fortune with all his treatment *altho we never put a price on their health*, but i thought we could build his fitness up ready for hunting as he would LOVE it but now its not a option as hes not able to really do much bless him.

    dam horses lol
