im having to take fred off AG .... he was loving it, but the change in his behaviour is amazing.... hes unsettled all the time, whining an whinging constantly, and if xomeone opens a door he goes wild .... i cant even seem to tire him out on our walks

so last night i threw all the food away and hes had just tripe and now i need to find a dry dog food that suits him ....

About 25/20 yrs ago I fed all mine Beta Bravo (when it was owned by BP, of all companies) They all did well and loved the gravy but it had to be eaten quickly as it went porridgy!
I then changed to Royal Canin and have used it ever since.
I do however feed a Working dried food to the ones on just a plain maintenance diet and I must say it is brilliant. No extras, no added this, that or the next thing. Even my 'hyper' ones are fine on it.
Maybe speaking to Ali Morton, the rep for Royal Canin would help as she is a qualified nutritionist and knows her stuff. She would advise on the best way to go when it comes to dogs who have a reaction against certain types of foods.
If you are already registered with them as a Breeder she will come out to help, if not, you will have to apply for a membership.
Sounds to me that you dog has developed an allergy to the additives or extras some companies put into their foods.
Hope everything works out for you.

Nico has been on Beta for a while now but as he's developed a rather dry scurfy skin I'm thinking of switching him back to AG

he didnt do well on the raw diet karen.... it was a pain getting him to eat it in the end, he still has tripe every day, but he was also having dried food along side it... he loved the AG.... but the change in his behaviour has been noticable.... were now trying james well beloved lamb and rice ...hes not too keen on it, and neither is daisy

fred used to have beta a year ago, but for some reason we changed it.... and i cant remember why now ...
