Got a bit of a shock tonight when I went to feed my rabbits. They were both dead!!
They were fine when I went to work this morning. There's not a mark on either of them & the cage is intact.
I know rabbits have a bit of a reputation for dying suddenly & inexplicably but both of them? :san56:

The Rex was 7 and the Dwarf Netherland was only about 3.
I've been racking my brains trying to think what I've done differently, whether anything had changed but it hadn't.
I just don't understand it.

its strange hwo they have both died tho isnt it i dont think thos netherlands last as long my Shetan was only about 3, not a bad age for the rex altho would have thought it had more left in it.
could anything have shocked them?

Have also been on Google Fazz & wondering about VHD now. Paula posted a link into my post on FB about this saying it had been diagnosed in our area.
Apparently a lot of VHD cases aren't recorded as death is often very sudden with no apparent symptoms.
