    I dont know whats got into him recently. When I take him out for a walk he goes to his usual spot for a pee and then is refusing to walk anywhere else he just wants to come home. I'm having a real battle of wills at the moment with him. Sometimes when I put his lead on him he wont get up to go out, then when I get him out he just wants to come home!!! he will walk a little way and then sits or lies down and wont budge!!

    any ideas????? :thinking: :thinking: or is his Lordship just being a moody teenager!!

    no matter how naughty or moody or stubborn fred is, he still wants to go out for a walk.....

    maybe it has something to do with his recent episodes of nipping and barking at people... :thinking: its strange how he suddenly doesnt want to go far

    hows his joints hun? i would examine that firts as he may have discomfort in them GSD's can get many things HD OCD SD lumbar issues ect ect dont panic tho lol

    then if all is well hes just going through a phase

    no Sandra :nhy: this started the day I made my post about the pub laughing at me. he has had awful runs too which I starved him yesterday and he's on chicken and rice today. Theres been a bird that a cat has got along where I walk him (its had its head ripped off) and he wont go anyway near it.

    Neil checked him over a couple of weeks ago and he was fine. I'm just wondering if he only wants to go out in the car cos he knows he's going to the beach then!! He's fine when he's on the beach happy as larry!!

    Sounds like he is trying to manipulate you into taking him where he wants to go i.e. the beach little tinker No matter how ill or tired Keira was she would never miss out on her walks Mickey is getting the same They know as soon as you get into certain clothes that its walk time and get all excited

    It might be the weather aswell making him a bit off He is a longcoat and they seem to get overheated more quickly Thats what ive noticed with Mickey anyway

    I think it must have been that he wasnt feeling very well. The runs have stopped and he's back to his happy self.

    Ed has been talking to a few people on the beach this morning and 4 of the dogs have had really bad runs and Barney the Spaniel was like Marley didnt want to go out. It must be something going around.
