Following
the BBC 3 programme aired last night ‘My Dog is My Weapon’
the issue of status dogs and ‘danger’ dogs has again been
brought to public attention. But isn’t it about time we tried to
learn our lessons from the 1991 Dangerous Dogs Act? Haven’t we
now swapped our ideology of blaming a type of dog to blaming a type of
dog owner. We have to look past the hype and stare the facts in the
